Yesterday we decided to go check out the Google event at the P&L District. Google had chosen Kansas City for one of their four stops on their tour promoting their new Google Apps offering.

Now you have to understand, we are a bunch of web development geeks. And so when we found Google was in town, we jumped at the opportunity to experience one of our favorite web brands.

Google Apps is Google's latest offering to provide IT Services for small business such as hosted email, calendars, and simple web sites. One more part of this offering is called Google Apps Engine. The Apps Engine is a more sophisticated offering that provides IT infrastructure services such as unlimited drive space, managed database services, network management, and server hosting.
