Fans of the Sabbath-by-way-of-Zeppelin Australian act take notice: Wolfmother — or at least the current iteration — is no more. Bassist/keyboardist Chris Ross left the band after their performance at Splendour in The Grass citing "irreconcilable musical and personal differences." The drummer Myles Heskett left the band shortly afterward.
Meanwhile, Andrew Stockdale, the bristly haired lead singer/guitarist is pulling an Axl, keeping the band's name and looking for replacement musicians to start on an album in the near future. Let's hope it doesn't take him more than 14 years to finish it.
That sauce is weak. They played the kind of toe tappin' rock n roll music that I dig. Seriously. They were very good.
that's a shame. They had a great sound. Let's hope their singer can form a band quickly, 'cause they've been overdue for an album for awhile.
