What's the coolest thing you ever bought at a garage sale?
Mine's probably my cat, Peppa. A $5 gray furball in a cardboard box. She's no longer with us, but she lasted a fierce and fiery nine years.
Oh, and does anyone know of any great garage sales coming up?

i got an antique copper coffee buffet style percolator. complete with the small coffee cups. i gave it to my mother for mothers day while i was in high school. it is still the centerpiece on her dining room table.

Here's the weirdest thing I've seen (NOT PURCHASED) at a garage sale: once I saw a vintage vibrator called "the big one" at a church sale in Burlingame, Kan.. It was still in the cardboard box and everything. Who in their right mind would bring that to a CHURCH garage sale? And did they seriously think someone would buy it?
