Sad. A great actor, for sure. However, I'm surprised he didn't accidentally shoot himself before now.

I guess we can 'rip the guns from his cold, dead hands' now. Seriously, though: I liked "Planet of the Apes" but wasn't a fan of all the gun fanaticism.
