okay, i've never seen a james bond movie so i've been taking a sort of crash course today trying to learn everything i can for an upcoming photo shoot. apparently, i've stumbled onto a bit of a hot topic here because everyone i run into is dying to tell me all about their favorite bond. sounds like daniel craig is the guy to beat?

I loved Dalton as Bond. He brought back a realism, especially coming off the overly smug Roger Moore. Brosnan was kind of an empty suit for me, but I enjoyed the films he was in. It was a shame (for Brosnan) that he got shafted out of the 2 Dalton films because of the whole Remington Steele situation, and then became the highest grossing James Bond in history only to get dismissed when they decided they whated to reboot the franchise.

The big question I'm waiting for won't happen until next May when everyone weighs in on the new Mr. Spock.

The only Bond movie I've seen all the way through is Casino Royale and I thought it was great. I don't think Pierce Brosnan is a good actor so I never cared to see the ones he was in. I've seen bits of the Sean Connery ones (the scene in a Centipede arcade confused me) and most of the George Lazenby one.

Thanks to the magic of netflix I may be getting the previous ones to see if I'm missing anything. But Daniel Craig was good enough to get me hooked.

Zachary Quinto as Spock: Pure Genius! He Rules!

The real question we should be asking is who is the best Bond Girl?

My vote goes to Eva Green:
Image Fo Shiz

You guys all hate Brosnan but "GoldenEye" was great! Cheap, solid, goofy, fun movie. Of course, "Tomorrow Never Dies" was hella-weak and "The World Is Not Enough" was freakin' horrible so I kinda gave up.
Everyone loves the new Bond and his "Dark Knight" outlook but I don't buy it. I already got Jason Bourne, evil Bond from a parallel universe I don't really need.
To shreds you say?

Thunderball is the only Bond flick iv'e actually watched and that was partially because i like to hang out in some of the spots where it was shot. So i have to go with the merkin covered, wife slapping douche sean connery

So what does everyone think of the new Bond film?

I liked it quite a bit. Casino Royal was probably better.

Overall, though. I give it a high grade. A -
