The New Kids on the Block appeared on Today today, eliciting tween screams from women in their 30s.
The highlights: They're recording an album, performing together for the first time in almost 20 years on May 16 (on Today) and going on tour. Here's a clip:

Unfortunately I have to admit that NKOTB was the first concert I went to. I believe I was 7, so maybe State Fair 1987, played with Tiffany and Eddie Rabbit. POURED. All concert. Horrible. I was forced to go because I have a sister 4 years older than me and our parents took us to the fair and surprised her with tickets. I'm sure I was into it then, though.... d'oh!

Wow, I totally forgot about Venture. It was like the Target of the early 90s, complete with a geometric logo. Those dino earrings sound wicked...you should bust them out again for the reunion tour.

Wish we still had Venture kind of like the challenge of finding merchandise I needed. Damn you Internet.

OMG, I loved Venture. My grandma and aunt would take us there and buy us an outfit for the school year!

my parents bought me my first pair of rollerblades at venture. they were black with turquoise and purple wheels and laces. i can picture it now: me rollerblading down the road listening to my NKOTB cassette tape on my walkman. sooooo cool!
