Motorhead kicked my ass and The Misfits fucked me!

Got there in time to see Vallient Thorr and they kicked ass like usual. I cant get enough of that shit. Its just damn good rock n roll!

I was so excited to see the Misfits. Havnt been that excited about a show in a while. I knew i was in trouble when Jerry Only kept bitching about the sound and took a lengthy sound check. I guess nothing on stage was good enough for him.
The show started with Halloween and even though it sounded like shit,it was still cool. They pounded out a good amount of songs and then just stopped! No Last Caress, No Where Eagles Dare, No Bullet, No Kill Tonight, IT JUST ENDED! I guess all his time he spent wasting during sound check cut into set time. So we got fucked in the process.
Fuck you Jerry Only and fuck your shit sounding version of The Misfits!
I really feel ripped off.

Luckily Motorhead made up for it. One of the best shows ive seen in a long time! they were ear blistering loud but so good.
Lemmy even threw in one acoustic song which was awesome!

So did anyone else go? Did you feel cheated too?

The Voodoo is not the kind of place i would frequent but i wouldnt say it was bad though. I'll go back to see bands I like at least.
Im thinking about going to Ice Cube actually.

The only way i would pay to see the Misfits again is if Danzig were to be there too.

Ive been to many many rock shows in my lifetime. Hundreds of them even. Never in my life have I heard anything as loud as that.
My ears are still ringing!
They sounded awesome though. Worth every bit of it.
