What are you guys doing tomorrow to celebrate Independence Day?

If I'm not too busy working on stories for ink, I'll probably beg my friend -- the one with a boat -- to invite me to the lake. Also, I'll probably pick up a 12-pack of Old Style, the hands-down winner of our blind cheap beer taste-test, which you can see here: http://www.inkkc.com/article/529

Try being English living here in the States. 4th July isnt the easiest of holidays. On one hand Im not sure we English have a whole lot to be celebrating on this particular day. But I live here in the States now, love this country and am growing ever more patriotic. Gets confusing! Plus you'd be amazed how many people, every year without fail, ask me how I celebrated the 4th back home.... Is it a big family celebration like it is here? Do we have fireworks? Seriously people, every year I get asked without fail, and always with the utmost sincerity. But I always answer nicely and look forward to Thanksgiving when I get the next round of "so how did you celebrate back home". Both wonderful holidays, but Im starting to wonder how many people even know what the holiday is actually celebrating any more. Happy Independence Day to all my American friends!
