Is Obama supposed to be the new JFK and Michelle the new Jackie O? If you pay any attention is sure seems that is what they are being groomed for. I suppose the Democrats are just trying to use what worked for them years ago. Reviving Camelot. Whatever! It's pretty much a dog n pony show at this point, anyway.

In any case, I'm sure as hell not voting for McCain.

I could go for a golden age. Obama '08! The holy grail sure as hell isn't in Bush's hands.

I wasn’t a big Obama fan for a long time and I was telling my people (black) not to vote because of race. Well I hope they heard me but as time goes on as, far to the left he is I am leaning more toward Obama. Like tell everyone; neither Obama or McCain will make all the right decision, neither will say all the right things so we in America need to pray and I mean pray that whom ever wins this election make it safe for us in America and can rebuild our economy to the best of their ability. With that said what has been going on in America and the Bush administration leads me to believe that the change Obama is talking about is will be a nice change.

Camelot?.. I wasn't alive then. What was it like? Same goes for JFK and Jackie O. If you are gonna give reference to Old School, you need to explain the parallels to today. Cuz, I have no idea what you're talking about.

All I know; this is about "Change", here and now.

Oops, I mean 2009.

Camelot refers back to England's most magical and mythical time in history of the rule of King Aurthur and Queen Guenevere. The time of JFK's presidency was given this accolade from the press at the time. His tenure was described as "Camelot," and the luster of his presidency has remained bright, in almost fairy tale fashion. The similarity is that if Obama is elected, he will be, at 47, among the youngest presidents in history...while his wife Michelle has been written up in the press as being a woman of high class and culture.Smile

This family portrait taken at Morton Downey Sr.’s home in Hyannisport, Mass., illustrates much of what Americans loved about the Kennedys: a young, vivacious family who projected a sense of warmth and fun, despite their wealth and connections.
