This is the first time I'll have the opportunity to vote and I'm really set on who I want as president and why.

I was curious, what issue(s) are most important to you guys when deciding who to vote for?

i don't necessarily think there's too much difference between any given politician in any given election. sure, we need to stop farting around in iraq. sure, we need to do something about the consistently failing economy. sure, we should probably do something about our environment. fact of the matter is that absolutely nothing drastic will ever get accomplished with the special interest groups controlling every facet of our elected officials.

i hang my american flag upside down. i have lost faith in the ability of the people to govern themselves.

i will be voting in this election as per usual, but that doesn't mean i'm happy about it.
DON'T PANIC.

personally, i would love you obama to win. and no it is not just because mccain scares me to death with his meltyface problem. (he has a melty face)

i do believe in the world that obama hopes for us to have and i have a feeling that a change would do us good. (and he is less experienced so he is most likely less corrupt)

however, i am terrified to vote for him. i want to believe that people are good. trust me. but i know that there is some crazy out there who will try to assasinate him just because he is not like everyone else.

there i played the race card and i am not even in this election!
i wish i had knew the words people wanted to hear

In times like these we have to have faith that who ever wins does the best job and makes the best decisions. I wont say right because like a human Obama and McCain will never make the right decision; they both will flip flop, the both will be advised as to what needs to be done but one things for sure, we need changes. Change is better than the same old crap the Bush administration has given us and unless McCain makes a drastic turn around he will not win this election. I'm African American and I'm not a big Obama fan but I am leaning more towards him solely because he has taken his far leftism and admitted that he needs to be stronger on foreign policies. Let's stop bashing and start praying if that’s what you do; no matter who is president he will have a trillion dollar deficit, relations to re-build for national security reasons and figure out how to handle Afghanistan and Iraq. God bless America and our new president!!

I have to admit; John McCain gave a good speech last night. Hell would have to freeze over before I voted for him, but, nonetheless, I think it was a good speech.

AMEN & AMEN

As long as special interest groups have their hand in the White House, we are all going to get the shaft.
And as long as people care more about who is going to win American Idol than they do who will win the White House, we are screwed.
And as long as people are wasting energy on keeping up with the tabloids and other "fluff" news, they wont even be capable of governing themselves.

I have to stop now before i start ranting about self reliance again! Brick wall

Dunno who I'm gonna vote for...just who I am not. I think McCain is Insane. (Literally) Now, there's a slogan.
