Thinking about adding it to Ink. Who's with me?

Got a comic strip you think we should include in our print edition?

Tell us what you 'd like to see. Those who suggest Family Circus will be drawn and quartered and have their entrails fed to Garfield and Marmaduke.

Hey! Stop peddling your "comic strips" in the "comic book" forum!

We already pay too much for comics, why pay to keep track of them?

I've been reading up a lot on classic comic strips, pre WWII era, and I came across the interesting factoid that the 'comics page' is a relatively recent addition, not coming in until the latter WWII years. Before that the strips were placed throughout the paper and used to break up copy or add some 'oomph' to a page with too much text. Anymore you really only see that with the political cartoons.

I vote for the Perry Bible Fellowship and We The Robots. If you haven't seen those, check them out:

Also, wouldn't it be awesome to get Little Nemo in Slumberland back into print? Amazing how a strip that's almost 100 years old can still be cutting edge...

I like the idea of using classic strips. That's a huge goldmine that's not really being tapped right now.

I think the dinosaur comics are a riot: http://qwantz.com/ but the idea of WW II era comics might be kinda novel, a juxtaposition on modern culture?

i know you could never print them, but i do so love the garfield minus garfield comics. they're a sick twist on an old cheesy sunday comic....makes jon seem pretty demented.
