Well ive been on Frink for a couple days now. I guess its time to test the waters.
Im just curious, is there ANYONE else out there who doesnt recycle? I mean anyone who doesnt do it because they think it does more harm than good and not just out of laziness?
Ive done a little research over the years on recycling and ive found more than a few reasons to at least question it. Everything from the extra energy we use to recycle, to the fact that a lot of recycled products arent as good as others, to the fact that there is no landfill shortage. I could go on and on.
I do recycle aluminum though. Its one product that can easily be broke down and reused over and over.
Anyway, here are just a few links i found interesting on the topic.
Im not really trying to stir anyone up but just curious if there is anyone else out there that is at least questioning it.
Penn and Teller did a great show on recycling that had a lot of great points. Here is a 10min. clip from the show. If you dont have time to watch the whole thing, at least watch the first 5:30 of it. its great.

and here is a much shorter and even better Penn and Tellar clip.
