Having the only Curling club in the two state region might not create many threads of discussion, it does set Kansas City apart from other cities in our fair states.
More importantly, Recognition of such a unique sport would go a long way to helping establish a good size curling community and eventually, establishing dedicated "curling ice" to better train those competitive curlers in our club for national and international play which is going on right now.
Watch Live Womens World Curling Action right now at WSCN at this Link. The Mens Starts in April and can be seen at the same link. Signup to watch is Free. The US Womens team is currently 4-1 and stand a good chance to make the playoffs.
