In 2005, she won a Grammy for Best Country Female Performance, one of three nominations that year. That was a year after she released her debut album, "Here for the Party," which would sell 5 million copies in the U.S.
In May 2006, she headlined a show at Sandstone (and barely half-filled the place). Last year, she canceled a show at Crossroads KC, the 2,500-person venue behind Grinders (ticket sales weren't good). On March 6, a Saturday, she will perform at PBR Big Sky Bar in the Power and Light District. That's a long way to fall.
