Katie Couric's famous colonoscopy.
My friend is having a colonoscopy next week and was reading over the instructions for what to do before the procedure.
Starting at noon the day before, she has to take - count them - 15 LAXATIVES!
Then at 3 p.m., she has to take a liquid laxative every half hour.
Doesn't that sound dangerous?
Then there's other orders like do not eat corn or popcorn a week before the test.
Here's even more guidelines from the Mayo Clinic.
My favorite: Stay near a toilet.
No kidding!
So to get a colonoscopy, you pretty much need to take two days off from work: One day for the test and the day before, spent in the bathroom.

I'm not exactly sure what the point of this blog is. And maybe the doctors just don't want any doodie blocking the cameras view.
