I'm originally from upstate NY and after 22 years I decided a change was in order. My boyfriend and I just moved here about a month ago. I'm a psych major and I love art. We both love music. Looking forward to all this wonderful city has to offer!

About a year and a half ago I started sewing. I made a couple handbags for myself, and it turns out people like them. With the help of some family and friends I started making more bags and selling them. That was all back home in NY.
I want to try to make the transition from up north to out here. I was wondering if anyone knew of any art shows or craft fairs around that I could attend to try to spread my name around?

My boyfriend (of 4 years) and I just moved to the Kansas City area. He lived here when he was younger, but I am a newbie to the area.
We are both still job searching so we are definitely on a small budget for a little while.
