Wine em' Dine em' 69 em
After work last night I get home and one of my roommates is freakin out because of the Jared Allen trade topic. ESPN did a 5 minute segment on Trey Wingo's show about how he is for sure going to get traded. I thought my bud was going to have a pumper "heart attack" All he could say was he's gone the chiefs suck and they never keep the right players.
I say it's called CONTRACT NEGOTIATION through mass media forums.
"Broadly speaking, negotiation is an interaction of influences. Such interactions, for example, include the process of resolving disputes, agreeing upon courses of action, bargaining for individual or collective advantage, or crafting outcomes to satisfy various interests." - wikipedia.org
Jared Allen's agent is a smart man and he is telling him what to say, how to say it, what to do and how to do it. Once a deal is final they will both laugh all the way to the bank. Hell King Carl will have grim smirk because he will think he won and everyone will be happy. I myself love to negotiate anything. Whenever I buy something I always ask "Is that the lowest you will go? " Even if I get a good deal I always say " Wow I paid too much !!!! "
Back to the trade topic. I love Jared Allen. I love how he plays the game and he may be one of the best d ends in the nfl. On the other hand if he demands too much money we shoudl trade him. I know it's hard too admit but the NFL is also a business and I wish my friend would realize that. The Chiefs can't bury themselves and have salary cap issues 2-3 years from now. It does happen. Look at the 49ers !!! It has taken them over 5 years to get back to 500 !!!
I think if a trade does go down it will be on draft day. I'm ok with trading Jared as long as we can still have a mid to late first round draft pick AND draft one of the Long's. I would rather have Jake Long because he will be an anchor LT for 10-15 years in the NFL, but ever since The Big Tuna took over Miami all the projections point Jake Long going #1 overall. I would also be ok with the Chiefs trading Allen and picking up Howie Longs son. FU Raider Nation.
Points of interest
1.) If Jared Allen is leaving why did he just open up a bar? "Wine em, Dine em 69 em"
2.) The Big Tuna will make the Dolphins a winner because they will have a stud LT that will create huge holes for whatever RB they have and protect whatever QB they have
3.) Moneymaking Positions in the NFL QB LT DE "Also the 3 most important positions"
I want to dedicate this blog to *** for being so damn simple minded and not accepting my perspective. late
