First off I don't mean the obvious here, as in the central figures in the after mentioned movie. I mean the everyday john and jane q. american that just happen to be walking or driving through a scene. Having worked on a couple of pictured myself I know that you can't control the random factor and not for lack of trying a set a closed set. I am sitting on my couch and watching any random movie and if its suppose to set in the real world then there will be cars driving past just like in everyday. But thats the thing im wondering about. What are the people in the cars doing? Where are they going what do they have going on in there lives. I mean one could ponder all sorts of things and for that matter it leads to the question if you want to think about it is what are any of us doing. Are we all just driving through life going from one stop light to the next. Who is filming as we go to work. With today's technology how can we know how many thousands of pixels have our likeness committed to them. We are forever the background "who's that guy" is other people's lives. Jumping in and out of each others lives at the punch of a power button or a snap of a camera lens. Plus you have the immortalization factor. I mean I may just be talking here but you have to think about how you could have just been driving to your first date, nervous as cat in a rocking chair factory, and a scene of a major motion picture was shot in your line of sight with you and your car and what ever else was in the shot out of focus of course but still there for the whole world to forever see. Something to think about. I for one will be looking a little closer at my movies hoping that one day I will see a certain familar looking Ford Explorer Barraling down the street and for all our sakes I hope they get my good side.
