New Year’s Eve plans still up in the air?

Rest easy. Here’s a detailed look at what’s going on in Kansas City in the final hours of 2012.

Ambassador Hotel Collection

What: New Year’s Eve rates for the boutique hotel start at $299 and include a complimentary midnight champagne toast and complimentary New Year’s Day breakfast for two at Reserve. There is also a free shuttle service until 1 a.m. to places within a five-mile radius of the hotel.

The Black Party IX

What: This year the Ink-sponsored party relocates to the Historic Firestone Building, where there will be access to four levels. There are three DJs, a VIP area with champagne service and food from Tasso’s, and door prizes. General admission tickets to the party, which has sold out in each of the past eight years, are $85, and VIP passes are $110.

The Bottleneck

What: The Scottish Rite Temple once against transforms into a four-story party central to ring in the New Year.
