Jo, Allison, Cherryh and Tricia partied SATC style last night at Mosaic.

My girlfriends and I rocked cute dresses and hit the hot pink carpet last night at Mosaic for Ink's VIP S.A.T.C party.

We enjoyed free martinis named after our favorite N.Y. girls and swag bags from Standard Style. For a minute, we felt like Carrie, Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte.

A fan of the SATC series, I've seen the movie and loved every second of it. However, some critics are saying that it's too outrageous to believe that a woman would spend $500 on a pair of shoes, especially now when our economy is in the toilet. Maybe it is, but that's the point.

For 2.5 hours, you don't have to think about your debt, bills or responsibilities. Instead, you can live in a world of beautiful people, Jimmy Choos and $900 purses. The non-reality of it all is the whole point.

Why would you sit through a movie that mirrored your everyday life? Boring!

Thank god this flick is FINALLY coming out so we can all concentrate on the real movie of the summer, 'The Dark Knight." Coincidently, I will be throwing a "Batcave" party in my basement that will top anything Mosaic could ever do. I've even hired a Heath Ledger look-a-like to attend and steal all my prescription medicine. Too soon?
Holy awesome time batman, I'm so going to the Batcave party! He needs a red carpet when you've go black spandex.

I'm totally at the Batcave party but don't know what to wear. Wow, the pressure.
It's like being a Star Trek or Star Wars fanatic. You enjoy these movies or television shows to forget about your real problems for a few moments. There's no problem with a little fantasy so long as you are aware that it is nothing more than fantasy. :)
Adam....yes, too soon.
Fantastic Adam. I'm totally psyched for "The Dark Knight" too. And, NO, not too soon. Although, hell is going to be a great place!!
oh boy...
Dayum...you are smokin in this pic;)
