Meet the fitness king and queen of Kansas City.
Personal trainers and fitness models Diana Chaloux and Micah "Hitch" LaCerte preach and practice nutrition and exercise at their midtown studio and online at hitchfitgym.com.
Since launching the Web site in January, the trainers have transformed clients around the world by customizing programs and providing online support.
The pair opened their Hitch Fit training facility at 3036 Gillham Road in August.
Before that, each appeared in a number of national health magazines and fitness competitions as world-class coaches of their trade.

Try these fat-trimming tricks from pros Micah LaCerte and Diana Chaloux.
• Eat often to burn fat. The trainers recommend fueling your body every two to three hours.
• Have a support system. Get your best friend, spouse or significant other on board. Stay away from saboteurs.
• Be prepared. Make like a boy scout and plan your meals and workouts in advance.
• Choose low-carb, low-sugar protein supplements that contain whey protein isolate as a primary ingredient. “If it looks like a candy bar and tastes like a candy bar, it is a candy bar,” Chaloux said.
• Don’t skip strength training. Resistance exercises increase muscle and ignite your metabolism, so you burn calories when you’re not even moving.
• Pay attention to portion sizes. Read labels, and measure your intake.
• Write down everything you eat. Track your calories in a small journal to stay accountable.
• When eating out, your best bets are sub shops or seafood and steakhouses.
• Load up on H20. The trainers recommend drinking eight glasses of water or more every day.
• Burn before breakfast. To burn more fat, the trainers advise squeezing in a sweat session first thing in the morning.
