Roberts consults with members and pairs them based on personal attributes and criteria. “I work directly with each client, which helps build a personal relationship over time,” she said.
Clients candidly confide in Roberts about their dates — sometimes in loads of detail. “Some people want to keep it professional, but others want that personal touch.”
Her one no-no? “I don’t break up with people for other people.”
Word from the wise:
Roberts worked in the company’s call center for five years before switching to her current gig, where she has learned all about dating.
“There’s a certain amount of formula to it,” she said. “If people do certain things, they’re more likely to be successful.”
Her big tip? “Don’t close the door on someone just because they have a cat or work in a certain industry.”
